Hathapuncture

Winter encourages us to be Yin. New Year's resolutions, family, work, and school make it hard to find a Yin moment: to be still and to rest.  Hathapuncture allows the time and space for R&R: relaxation and restoration.

This 75-min* class opens with a relaxing and mindful Hatha practice, connecting to the breath and then moving your body slowly into different poses. These poses open and lengthen the body and are held for several breaths before moving on to the next. They also open the meridians and allow the flow of Prana, Qi, and Blood to begin.

Moving into an extended savasana, you will receive a 6-needle Acu-boost treatment. This combination of 6 points has a powerful therapeutic effect, going deeper and working on specific acupuncture points to achieve balance and harmony within the body and organs.
